What is LRP?
The doTERRA Loyalty Rewards Program (LRP) is a super generous option for members who place an order every month. There are lots of savings to be made and you can get FREE oils every month.
You decide what you want to be included in your monthly doTERRA wellness box each month – as little or as much as you like. And you can change the items in your order right up until the day before it is processed.
Taking advantage of the LRP ordering is the most cost-effective way to build your essential oil collection, replace your household cleaning and skin and hair care products with our awesome toxic-free options, and get the most effective health supplements available.
What are the benefits of LRP?
Every doTERRA product has a dollar value and a points value. The points are used to calculate your rewards and can be used to purchase items instead of money.
Firstly, you get your postage back as points after each order to spend on future orders. In Australia that is usually 8 points for $8 postage.
Secondly, you also get a percentage of your order back as points to spend on oils and products in the future. This percentage back starts at 10% and grows by 5% every 3 months, to a maximum of 30% back after 12 months. (Note for your LRP order to count towards the quarterly increase it must be at least 50 points).
Don’t worry if you have a month where you can't or don't want to place a 50 point order, just order the cheapest item you need for the month eg a Lemon oil or lip balm, this will maintain your points balance and your percentage back rate. If you then place a 50 point LRP order the next month it will count towards your quarterly increase.
What is the value of the points?
Let’s say your first LRP order is 100 points (100pv). Next month you will receive 10 points reward + 8 points for your postage, so that’s 18 points, which is approximately $25 to spend in the future.
When you have reached the maximum reward rate of 30%, for a 100pv order you will receive 30 points reward + 8 points for your postage, so that’s 38 points, which is approximately $50 to spend on whatever you want.
The difference between the dollar value and the points value is quite different for each product. For example a bottle of Oregano oil costs $31.75 or 29 points, whereas a Ylang Ylang oil costs $57.00 or 39.50 points. So if you use your points to purchase products with a greater difference between the dollar value and point value, in this case the Ylang Ylang, you are saving the most money.
How do I spend my points?
When placing your next LRP order, look at the items in your cart. There will be a drop-down arrow in the Use Points? column for any items you can use points for instead of money. (Note there is a small fee of $3 to redeem your points).
You can save up your points and then use them to get the more expensive oils like Rose, Helichrysum and Melissa for FREE. Or use them every month and never pay for toothpaste or body wash every again!
You can’t earn points for points. So when using your points to purchase an item, the points for that item won’t be added to your monthly total. This is important to note if you want to make sure your monthly LRP is at least 50 points to build your quarterly rate up to the 30% or if you want the FREE Product of the Month (POM).
What is the FREE Product of the Month (POM)?
Loyalty Rewards members are offered a FREE Product of the Month (POM) every month. To receive the FREE POM you need to ensure your monthly LRP order equals 125pv or more and is processed before the 15th of the month. That’s it. Then the POM will be added to your order for FREE.
You are only eligible for one free POM per month. If one month you decide to place a 125pv order in Australia and a 125pv order from the US warehouse – you will receive the FREE POM for the FIRST order processed before the 15th of the month.
Are there other benefits to LRP?
The themed Wellness Boxes are another item that are only offered to Loyalty Rewards members. These Wellness Boxes are specifically designed to support certain elements such as sleep, fitness, seasonal threats etc. New Wellness Boxes are released regularly and they are always set at 125pv or more, so you can also get the FREE POM if processed before the 15th of the month.
Can I cancel my LRP?
Absolutely, you can cancel your LRP at any time. But you won’t want to. It is truly the most awesomely generous rewards program ever! If you do decide to cancel your LRP make sure you spend your points first and note that after you cancel you will no longer receive your postage or percentage back as points on future orders.
How do I set up my LRP?
1. When you logon to your doTERRA account select the large purple button: CREATE A NEW LRP TEMPLATE. (If you don’t yet have a doTERRA account skip to the next section below.)
2. Select the date you want your first monthly order to arrive. I always have mine set to the 15th of the month, so I can get the FREE POM if I want.
3. Click on the blue button: Next, add products to your cart >>
4. Click on the icon for the items you want to add to your first order: Essential Oils, Wellness, Personal Care, Special Officers or Kits.
5. Click on the yellow button: Add to cart
6. Once you have added the items you want for your first order (for now), click on the yellow button REVIEW CART.
7. Add your shipping address and payment details. Then click on the blue button: Save Changes.
8. Your LRP is now created.
To change the items in your cart, click on the grey button: #000000 in the Edit column.
You can change your items as often as you want throughout the month. Once your order has been placed you can change your order for next month.
As part of my team, I will send you an email on the 12th of each month to remind you to change your LRP order to ensure that you don’t get the same order as last month.
